The Trip Worth Planning Around

Some Occasions Only Come Around Once. Here's How To Make The Trip Match.

Dear Travelers,

Every so often, a date on the calendar starts to feel bigger than the rest. An anniversary that ends in a zero. The wedding that's finally on the calendar. The summer before the youngest heads to college. A retirement party, a sale that closed, a grandparent who has waited a long time for everyone to be in one place.

These are the moments people call us about, and they're rarely just asking for a trip. They want the evening that stays with everyone for years: the table by the window, the guide who knows the story behind the story, the morning that unfolds slowly because no one is checking a phone for directions.

Here is what we’ve come to believe: the trips people remember are designed, not assembled.

A few moments we love planning

The milestone anniversary. A private dinner arranged in advance, a quiet morning with nowhere to be, and a first evening that begins with a welcome rather than a queue.

The honeymoon. The wedding is a whirlwind, and the days that follow should feel like an exhale. Think a first morning with no alarm, a dinner with a view of the water, and a journey shaped around the two of you, with every detail already in place so you can simply be newlyweds.

The multigenerational gathering. Three generations, one itinerary, and a rhythm that gives the grandparents unhurried mornings, the teenagers something to talk about at dinner, and the adults a chance to sit down together.

The "last big trip" before life shifts. One week that becomes the story your family tells for years.

The trip you'd rather not manage. For those who would rather be present than be the project manager, everything is handled: flights, transfers, reservations, and the small details in between.

How it works

You share what the occasion means to you. We design a journey around it, drawing on the places, people, and experiences we trust. You review a plan that already feels right, and then you relax while it all comes together. We stay with you before and during your travels, so you can be fully present for the trip itself.

A note on timing

It's the season when many families begin thinking about the year ahead, and January's "wave season" is closer than it feels. Planning early gives us room to be thoughtful and gives you the widest choice of dates, rooms, and experiences. If a milestone is on your calendar for 2027, this is a perfect time to begin the conversation.

If a date is already circled in your mind, we'd love to hear about it. Reply to this email, and we'll begin with the moment you want to create.

Warmly,

Elaine & Stephanie
